Viigo is Your Friend

Viigo is Your Friend

It’s Christmas.
And chances are you are out and about, doing your last minute shopping and preparations.

But, in the midst of the festive chaos, your blog gets thrown down the bottom of the to-do list as hosting family members and shovelling snow off your driveway takes priority.

You’re not alone.
Thoughts of an abandoned blog have filled me with guilt.

But then I realised it doesn’t have to be such a painful thing to do.

As an avid mobile device (BlackBerry) user, responding to comments, and keeping up to date with my favourite blogs has been a doddle.

What’s made this even more natural to do, requiring less effort has been the RSS subscription service by Viigo. It’s made keeping on top of my blogging commitments a click and a scroll away – and at the most convenient of times.

Share Your Discoveries

Viigo (mobile) offers the much needed one-click access to keep in touch with your favourite blogs for new content. It also gives you the ability to share your favourite posts through its social media module which includes platforms such as Twitter, Friendfeed e.t.c

See the other amazing modules Viigo has on offer

(Viigo is also available on several mobile platforms)

How do you keep informed on the move?

    John,
This is so fresh! You rose to the challenge I tweeted you by writing a post about Viigo. You get much respect for that. You're also way ahead of me on this. I'm lost when I'm on the go. My cell phone is so old, that I don't even think they make them anymore. Great post and certainly one that I will be alerting my followers to.

    Thanks!

When my new 5800 arrives I will give Viigo a look even if it does sound like an actor from Lord of the Rings :-) Thanks for the heads up

Yes the feeling of guilt leaving my blog to rest for a couple of days did kinda worry me. So I am attempting to keep in touch with it to keep it alive. Though as I was creating a post today, which I wasn't expecting to do, my kids kept calling me “Dad can you help me….”Dad” “Dad” then I remembered. What is more important around the holiday season is spending time with your family. So I finished up real quick to take the time with them to build a snowman, have a little snow ball fight and just enjoy time with my kids.

John I do want to thank you for tweeting my post. I really appreciate it!!

    Have a great holiday!

Sounds like you had a great Christmas Jimi :-)
And spending that time with your family is far more important.
During the holidays, I found myself running back and forth also – Hence my delayed response
I think we've both learnt from this experience – we need to plan ahead :-)
It's been great interacting with you this year, hope to work more closely in 2010.

Happy new year and I wish you every success in 2010
