Has Market Saturation Stopped You From Making a Move?

Take time out to refine your ideas. Don’t ditch the idea because it’s been done, look for ways to develop it so you’re providing something or a service to make it better.

If computer manufacturers gave up because desktops computers were made, we wouldn’t have laptops today. The same concept goes with any other technology or business idea, from cars and mobile phones to making card payments and online transactions.

So next time you’ve got a light bulb moment, and discover it’s already been done – study and research how it’s been done and see push your imagination to the next level.

    I'm with Ileane here – it's a common problem with posts for me. I write something, then read pretty much what I've written on another blog. It does force me to add something new to my post though.

    With products, it's not so bad, because all you have to do is market yours to a different audience, or better than the other person, and you'll be fine.

    You and I have written very similar posts on occasion. I remember one morning I was glad I saw your first. LOL
    I don't think I ever did re purpose that one, but you point is well made. This does happen quite a bit, but your are right, put some additional creativity into it and enhance your idea. When you think about it, being second gives you an opportunity to insure that yours had a little more to offer, particularly with a product.

    That's a great point you've just made. Understanding your audience and what they want, which they can't find elsewhere, should be the focus.
    Now, that would be the ultimate USP.
